KVTN-DT Senior Producer
Reports To: VTN General Manager
FSLA Status: Exempt
Principal Purpose of Job:
The Senior Producer will oversee, assist, mentor and coach our Producers in every aspect of show production and post-production. The employee will work at the VTN (Victory Television Network) main studio and offices located at 701 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas. The employee may work on TV production projects away from the studio on rare occasion.
Duties are performed inside the main TV station facility; and on field production projects away from the main facility. While a significant amount of the duties are performed inside climate controlled facilities, some duties are performed outside as needed from time to time in all four seasons and a variety of weather conditions.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise, assist and provide creative guidance to show producers and other production personnel in the production and post-production of our daily, weekly and special event programs.
• Oversee all program production task calendars to ensure that program project deadlines are met.
• Provide oversight and input on program and promo scripting.
Coordinate with program hosts and producers on long-range program goals. Work with producers to keep programs on target with agreed upon goals.
• For program episodes involving guest interviews, offer guidance and assistance on guest recruitment for interview segments.
• Work with program hosts to maximize their interview skills.
• Work with Producers to design innovative graphics appropriate to each show.
• Coordinate with Producers and Promotion Director to develop a viable show promotion strategy.
Qualifications and Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years successful experience as a Producer, Senior Producer or Executive Producer in television. Experience as a Producer in the Christian television format is a plus.
A shared passion for touching the lives of viewers with The Good News of Jesus Christ.
Coaching/supervisory style should be decisive and collaborative.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed.
Verifiable time management and project management skills are critical.
Solid experience in non-linear editing is required. Experience on Final Cut Pro is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.

Salary Range: $50,000.00- $52,000.00
