Former Arkansas State Senator Jason Rapert is the founder and president of the National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) and host of “Save the Nation with Jason Rapert.” The NACL is the first national association of Christian elected officials serving at the local, state and federal level in the history of the United States. Since the national charter meeting of the NACL was held in August 2020, the organization now has members, donors and supporters from all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

“Save the Nation with Jason Rapert” focuses on addressing all of the major public policy issues facing the United States today from a Christian worldview and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to incorporating in-depth analysis, education and information on the importance of Christians serving in public office, Rapert interviews and profiles Christian elected officials and faith leaders from around the nation and highlights leading Christian conservatives from all across the country.

Jason Rapert is a native of Arkansas and has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and rebuilding the Judeo-Christian foundation of America through his public service and private life. Not only is he recognized for his leadership in the Christian community, he also is known as a solid friend to Israel and the Jewish people. He sponsored the first pro-life Heartbeat Bill to ever pass into law in the nation on March 6, 2013 and passed the Arkansas Ten Commandments Monument Act in 2015. He was the prime sponsor of the Arkansas Abortion Ban Trigger bill in 2019 that ended virtually all abortions in the state of Arkansas in June 2022 when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs decision. He also serves as a Sr. Policy Advisor to Students for Life.

In addition to his public service, Rapert is a businessman, ordained minister and leads several organizations. He surrendered to preach the Gospel on January 1, 2002 and since that time he and his wife Laurie fulfill their calling through their ministry www.holyghostministries.org. He was elected to serve in the Arkansas Senate in November 2010 and served until January 2023. He has led the National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) as founder & president since its inception. You can learn more about the NACL on their website www.christianlawmakers.com.
