In 1991, Evangelist Marcus Stevenson, Sr. received the pastoral call of God on his life. This came after years of faithfully serving in ministry under divine leadership. The Spirit of God led him back to his home state of Arkansas where he established New Testament Holiness Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He set to work with a vision and a mandate for the Lord to lead a church “where the Spirit and the Word agree in one”.
Over the next few years, God used Apostle Stevenson to raise up many men & women of God through radio and television. One of those raised up during this time was his son, Marcus Stevenson, Jr. who assumed his calling to ministry in 2004.
In 2011, after faithfully serving the ministry in several capacities – (Minister of Music, Lead Administrator, Evangelist, media ministry & Assistant Pastor) – Evangelist Marcus Stevenson, Jr. assumed his pastoral place in the ministry. Under the direction of God and the spiritual leadership of Apostle Stevenson another church was established and Souls Outreach Ministries was planted in the city of Conway, AR.
